uk knitting association competition

Whilst at Central St Martins my tutor advised me to apply to the Uk hand Knitting Association and take part in this years competition. My tutor felt I stood a good Chance of winning. I applied back in August this year and never heard anything.In september I found out I had been succesfully chosen as a finalist was I glad!!!  My knitted tape dress had been chosen to be exhibited.There was a prinintg error on my plague in regards to my university hopefully by my next show next month in Harrogate this shall be changed.I got to exhibit at the famous Alexander Palace at the knitting and stitching show. I was awarded second place at alexander palace and harrogate kntiing shows. This was a very proud moment for me.

Graduation Day

This by far beats any other day in my life, all i have to say until you get to this day there isnt any other feeling quite like it wearing the lush gown, the hat and your name being called and in my case running across the stage eager to shake my deans hand. Was  great, my beloved mother, father, uncle and sister attended my big day and lots of happy tears were shared. This day i dedicate to my mumma.

After three long hard years of struggerling and no sleep i have finally deisgned my final graduate collection. Must say am extremely impressed my theme for these creations are inspired by recycling and the idea of sustainability. Here i pose alongside my bessie mate sicgmone through my trials and trievlations she kept me going. Behind me are some of my pieces. Was one of the happiness days of my life the feedback and comments i reciceved were great. couldnt of done this collection without my friends and family. Thankyou xx
